Word Illustration: Perspective

The word I had to illustrate was “perspective.” I wanted to show something from a different perspective from how it is usually seen. This is a sculpture, but from this angle it looks like some type of super industrialized windmill. I also liked the juxtaposition of the soft, fluffy clouds against the hard, presumably cold, metal structure.

One Response to “Word Illustration: Perspective”

  1. Lauren, this is a really nice picture. You should see how it looks if you crop off the top a bit so that the metal beam on the left goes out of the frame like the one on the right. That might make it even harder to recognize what is being photographed, and make it look like all of the metal beams go on forever.
